Welcome to Cwoff - original editorials and debate.
This site is written for people who like to read by someone who likes to write. The articles are for the most part intended to be in-depth, intelligent, well thought out, thought provoking and as such lack the brevity of most other sports-orientated blogs you are likely find (or for that matter, newspapers you are likely to read).
The articles generally range from the long to the obscenely long and my recommendation is that if you do not like to read long arguments and discussions, learn to. Or leave. I would rather you learn but please appreciate that this will never be just another news snippet sports blog designed to elicit sensationalist respones or to drive traffic to Google ads. There are a lot of words and ideas to read on this site and each article is something of a labour of love and impassionate rationalisation; considerable thought goes into each one.
Remember too that because the original articles on Cwoff are editorials, they are opinion and not necessarily fact. If you disagree then say so - every article has its own comments which do not require your registration. You can choose to put an email address in and receive an update when someone else posts after your comment. We will of course never use that email for anything other than informing you of a new comment below yours. Promise.
